Personal Statement

At the beginning of the year, all of my classmates and I each wrote our personal statements. The purpose of writing our personal statements was to allow our teachers to better understand our personalities. We wrote about what we like to read, how we like to write, and any goals we had for life. It allowed our teachers to plan what we learned, and how we learned it.

I felt like this essay took a lot of thought. I really had to think about what I wanted my teachers to know about me. I was really proud about my thought process during this writing piece. I was impressed on how well I was able to organize my personal statement. I wish that I could've written more in my personal statement. What I ad written on the page was only a fraction of what I wanted to say.
