This was  a good semester in math.  I liked the way that Mr. I helped us learn.  He taught us through labs. The labs were hands on and fun.  We actually got to use what we learned in math on real life situations.  Like the Bungee Barbie lab.  We had to use linear equations to predict how long our bungee cord could be without the object touching the ground.  This was one of many labs that we did, but all of them helped me to retain all of the information.

Last year, I took Algebra 1, so you would probably think that this semester was all  easy, but it wasn’t.  One of my biggest challenges was remembering how to do the math.  Sometimes it would take me a whole day to remember how to do a certain concept.  Sometimes, I even needed help on it, but eventually I got it.  Once I got it, it was stuck in my head and I could do the math fluently.

Since I caught on pretty quickly and it stayed in my head, I passed my Midterm!  At first I was worried about the Midterm, but then I saw the test and I thought “Hey I know this stuff!” and I just did it all the way through with no stress at all.  When I got my test back, I found out that I passed.  I had a score of 58 out of 60, or 96.6%.

This semester in math, I had an A+.  That is my goal for next semester, to keep my A+.  In that goal is many other goals.   I want to keep all of my notes neat, especially because I will be wandering off into a new domain of math.  A domain that I’ve never learned about before.  This also means studying more.  I didn’t really study that much last semester because I got the material really quickly.  Next semester I don’t expect it to be that way.   I’ll have to study and keep my notes organized.  If I just keep those goals, I should be able to meet my ultimate goal.  I am very excited for the new semester.
