Literature Letter #2

For our Legacy of Colonization project, I read A Long Way Gone By: Ishmael Beah.  Through out the book, we had to do artifacts.  The first artifact that we did was Conflict Artifact and I wrote this literature letter to accompany my artifact.  In this letter, explained the conflicts that arose throughout the book, explained my artifact, and gave my thoughts on how the conflicts would get resolved.  My goal for this letter was to allow the reader to better understand the conflicts of the book.

I was really proud  of the level of thought that I put into this letter.  When I created my artifact, I had to put a lot of thoughts into the symbolism I was using, and so I had to explain the symbols in my Literature Letter.  The one thing that I could've done better was planning my time wisely.  I felt like I was really rushed on writing this letter and I wasn't able to make it my best.  While writing this letter, I used mindfulness and perspective.  I was very mindful of my past and I was able to convey it in a way that the reader could see my situations through my perspective.
