Egg Drop
Our Egg Drop experiment was made out of:

2 Plastic Bags

3FT of Yarn

6 Cotton Balls
Marshmall Creme Jar
This is our final product.
Our goal was to safely drop an egg from 30ft, so we made a capsule. To make the capsule we lightly packed a plastic bag in the Jet-Puffed jar, put the egg in it, then secured it with 20 cotton balls. My partner and I then connected another plastic bag to the jar using string so that it had a little parachute. When the capsule hits the ground, the egg travels from the top of the capsule to the bottom of the capsule . The plastic bag slowly decelerated the egg, impulse. We dropped our egg (AKA Heawburt Grittmann) from 10 Ft, 20 Ft, 25 Ft, 30 Ft, and a 30 Ft free fall (no parachute). Heawburt survived all of the falls except for the 30 Ft free fall. At the top of the drop height, the capsule had Potential Energy, as the fell it had Kinetic Energy. The Plastic bag helped to spread out the Kinetic Energy so that the egg was less likely to break.
