10 Second Physics

The purpose of this project was to create a short video that displays several examples of a physics topic. My topic was centripetal force. Centripetal force is basically the force that keeps and object from flying off a spinning objects. All of the examples are obvious and easy to recognize. Some of the clips included a guy swinging a bucket, the planets orbiting the sun, and a little girl getting swung around in a circle. My partner and I chose these clips because it is relatively easy to identify the centripetal force acting on the objects. I especially chose the planets orbiting the sun because it makes the viewer think about it, but it is still recognizable. Typically when you are thinking about examples of centripetal force, you don't think of planets in orbit. I hope this video will be helpful to many people.
